This treatment gives the illusion of bigger lips - however there is absolutely no colour tattooed onto the skin around your lips! Molly can even match the chosen colour to your favourite lippy or liner! Lip Blush Appointment Preparation Please ensure your consultation form has been completed before attending your appointment. 💊 Cold Sores & Antiviral Medication If you have a history of cold sores, even if you've only experienced one in the past, it is recommended that you take an antiviral medication such as Acyclovir 5 days before your appointment. Lip blush treatment can trigger a cold sore outbreak in those carrying the virus, and antiviral medication may help reduce this risk. 👄 Preparing Your Lips For the best healed results, it's important that your lips are healthy, hydrated, and free from dryness. In the week leading up to your appointment: Aim to drink plenty of water each day. Gently exfoliate your lips using a lip scrub or soft damp cloth. Apply a nourishing lip balm regularly to keep your lips moisturised. ✨ Top-Up Appointment A perfecting top-up session is an essential part of the lip blush process and helps achieve the best colour retention and overall result. This appointment should be booked for 6–12 weeks after your initial treatment. As appointment availability can be limited, I recommend booking your top-up at the same time as your first session.
